I just bought a Hunter 26.5. This boat has a recessed area in the bow to hook the jib sheet on. Can this be converted to a roller jib? If so, what hardware do I need? Thanks, Jim

Yes it can!

I bought my 26.5 with the roller furling already installed. It is a Harken, I believe. Since the headstay will have to be removed for this job, I'd get a qualified rigger to do the installation. The boat is a fractional rig with an adjustable backstay so tension on the headstay when the roller is installed is very important. You have a nice boat there. She points high and runs fast (for her size).
