I am looking for information concerning trailering a 26.5, I have just aquired. Does anyone have dimensions or pics they would share? My plan is to slip the boat during season and bring it home, about 100 miles, for winter service and projects. Any info or advice appreciated.

you can trailer that thing all over the place but check the bow support regularly, the rubber roller has a tendency to wear out and damage the gel coat.I have trailerd my 1996 H26 over 20,000 miles thru the USA.also change the strap on the winch to cable so you can cinch the boat up tight

While I am sure Charles is trying to help, he is refering to a water balast Hunter 26. It is a completly different boat. I own a 1988 Hunter 26.5, which I built the trailer for. The boat fit almost perfectly first time. I Picked the boat up 250 miles from home and the only problem was four 10-32 screws attaching the marker lights to the fenders touched the tires on bumps. I removed them and all went smooth as silk. I have since tweeked the design and have made a number of improvements to ease luanhing. I do exactly what you are going to do. One note I will tell you is, leagaly you are required to get a permit to trailer a boat 9 feet wide. Practiclly it is done without one but if there was an acident it might be a problem for you. Anyway I can help you with several options and some advice, as I have learned a good many lessons from my boat. Also I have helping others at my lake. We must trailer launch all boats and many people have bought boats in this size range with and without trailers. If you would like my help call me at (937) 426-2591 my name is Eric. It would take to much typing for my liking.
