We recently acquired a beautiful Hunter and are thoroughly enjoying sailing her. The previous owner removed the original outboard engine, and installed a 6-hp, 4-stroke Suzuki. Unfortunately, the control cables for throttle and gear that ran from the cockpit to the motor are missing. The levers remain, but without the cables they’re unusable.
I’m open to replacing the entire control system, but I’m unsure what cable lengths or specifications I need, or whether a complete kit would be more efficient. I’ve tried sourcing parts online, but so far haven’t had any luck.
