Hunter 25' Serial #?

I would like to know where I might find the serial number on a Hunter 25'. Just purchased one, and need the number for a title. Thanks for any help that is provided.Jay Elliott

Look under the rub rail on the starboard side just up from the stern

What year is your hunter? I have a 1975 25 the serial # is on the stern just above my waterline, but the important thing is that your state may not have issued titles for the year boat you have mine has no title just a registration florida didnot issue boat titles until 77 I believe but check with your local govt, or the former boat owner to be sure. good luck great boat
