I have a 2007 Hunter 25, and have come up with a great fix for the wobbly rudder issue. My boat sits on a mooring all summer, and with the high freeboard and swinging issue I need to keep the rudder down to control this. It broke twice on me, but what I do now is I use a fiberglass c-clamp to tighten it up on the top of the gudgeon. I keep on when both underway or when just on the mooring and it works great, problem solved.
