In my work on the 1978 Hunter 25 I just purchased I'm considering replacing the portholes with ones that can open for venting. Has anyone tried this and if so what brand and size did you use? How hard was it to do? Thanks for any info.
Most of the Cherubini Hunters use Bomar/Gray opening ports - either 5x12, 7x15 or 8x18. You can get them from Sailnet - but expect a backlog. This is the cheapest alternative - you can go with bronze or stainless, but expect to pay 4 or 5 times more per port.
