Thanks for the responses to my outboard size question. I am looking to buy the Hunter 25 I mentioned before. I have a few other questions if anyone has the time to answer. The Company that is selling the boat doesn't know that much about it. They said it is a 1980 hull with 3'4" draft. The boat is in the water so I have no real easy way to check the draft. Where can I find the hull number? Will I have any luck contacting Hunter Marine to get some hull information? I can always jump in the water with a tape measure but that is hard to get an accurate reading some times. Also Is there any thing special to look for as far as major problems before I buy? I am not worried about cosmetics and rigging because I am very familiar with boats this size and I can see all of that topside anyway. I am more concerned about things like ongoing gelcoat problems, delamination in certain areas, ect... Thanks for any help.

Generally you will find the hull number on the transom but some may have faded out over the years. Manufacturers are required to put the number inside the boat hidden somewhere. I suggest calling Hunter and finding out where that sucker is. Crazy Dave Condon
