I'm the proud new owner of a Hunter 25.5 built in 1985. The boat spent about a week under water laying on its side (I was given the boat for free because of this). So far I've had some people that know more about boats look it over and its shaping up to be in pretty good condition, just really dirty. It hasn't sailed yet, rudder and sail are being repaired.
We've noticed that it slightly tilts to the starboard side when sitting in the slip, it doesn't take much weight to correct the tilt, but it's definitely noticeable. We haven't been able to find any weight or any reason why it has the slight tilt. The only guess we have is the rudder is slightly bent to one side, which we can't confirm right now since it's under water. Has anyone out there had similar experiences with this model or have any other ideas to the cause of the tilt?
