Hunter 25 2006 Adjusting standing rigging and Installing 2nd. Battery

Hi,

I have a Hunter 25 2006 I want to adjust the standing rigging tension because I am feeling it too loose.

Could you give an idea how to do this?

In an other hand I want to install a 2nd battery, but because this Hunter us a little Aft Heavy, I am thinking to put the battery under the VBerth.

Is this a good idea?

I have the same boat and have already installed a second battery aft of the stock one. Now she leans a bit to starboard due to the the two batteries, motor and galley on that side. I’m also thinking of moving both batteries forward and to port perhaps under the seat or V berth. One major issue is to provide ventilation and of course proper gauge cable.
