I'm purchasing a Hunter 25 for my young son to learn to sail. There is a local Hunter '80 that has 6 opening ports (3x3). The "Cherubini's" listed on Yachtworld and listed FSBO - have 8 opening ports. The profile of the cabin seems slightly different too. Can someone please explain the difference between a Cherubini Hunter 25 and a non-Cherubini? Was this just relative to model year, or was it a model choice? Thanks in advance. Jesse

I think that they are both Cherubini's

Jesse: If you check out the evolution of the Cherubini's you will see that there were slight changes over the years. They started in about 74 and the last ones where 83-84 depending on the models. As they evolved, more of the ports were opening units rather than fixed and they may have added ports too. I do not think that there are any differences in the hull, but you will find differences in the rigging, travelers etc.
