Any other Hunter 25 owners out there? Hoping for someone else with one of the older/original? deck design. The sloping, coachroofless ones. I am rebuilding mine and was hoping for some pics or answers to a couple questions. Thanks Charlie

Appreciate it!

ceh9876@hotmail.com I have completely redone the interior, am looking for pics of the stern lazarette and lockers. Also a shot or 2 of the overhead under the mast, from both fore and aft of the bulkhead. Also any shots of sheet leads for jib and genoa. Realy appreciate this, Charlie

Sheet leads

I believe that the Cherubini h25's and h27's usually had the jib/genny shets led through snap shackles attached to the toerail. So the sheets run outside the stays. David Lady Lillie

That would explain all the

snap shackles and snatch blocks that came with the boat! Thanks, Charlie

Cherubini on Cherubini

I have an original-series (Mk 1) '74 H-25 and am going through a lot of the issues Charlie and others are facing. You might scan the Forum Archives on my responses to some of these current queries. As many of you know, I participated in my dad's original design discussions of this boat in 1971-72 (the idea for the main-cabin berth footwells was mine), and have embarked on the Diana project as a way to preserve what is best about the boat and improve what is in most need of it. Again, my contributions in the archives (search 'Hunter 25' and my name) will hopefully be of some help to those of us who still believe in this great little boat. On a related note-- I had a Cherubini 44 owner tell me yesterday that my boat, sitting next to his in our yard, looked like a 'great sea boat'-- which we all know it is. I proceeded to inform him (with irony) of what both boats had in common (starting with the Cherubini-designed cockpit seat lockers-- but that's in the archives too!). Little Diana hits the water, for the first time in 4 years, this spring. Any and all interested parties are welcome to look/visit/kibbitz/drink beer. Hey JC2

I have an 82 H25 that I'm very fond of, but I'm looking for a larger boat. Actually, I'm looking for "the last boat", the one that I can afford to keep and sail until I die. I want to do some Caribbean passagemaking with my wife and daughter, but much of the time I sail solo. I don't want to buy more boat than I can handle 20 years from now. The H27 comes close to fitting the bill, but I want to look at the H30, H33 and maybe even the 37C. If you had your druthers, which would you choose? I remember reading in previous posts that your dad considered one particular model to be his best or at least his favorite. Which model is that? Thanks for your help. I've been all over an H27, but haven't been aboard any of the others. Right now I'm stationed in Djibouti, Africa, so all my shopping is in cyberspace. But when I get back to Texas....

No issues for me, I am

completely redoing the interior. I'd like to see what the original lazarette setup looked like and the original compression post upper end. JC are ya keeping yours original? Or close? Thanks, Charlie
