Justin;

Although I know your boat quite well and use to race it plus being the top dealer for that boat and so on, I refrained from knowing what the PHRF handicapp was as it does vary from club to club. I raced many boats with the 240 and although I beat them to the surprise of many, it comes down to knowledge of the sailing area, condition of the boat, experience of the skipper to include any crew and of course the boat as well. When all is going for you, you will win. That is why I never worried about handicapp and in one race, I was the first ove the finish line to include a variety of boats in the 40 foot range and down but was given a fifth place over the uproar of the crowd who were ticked off with the race committee even though as a professional, I remained silent.

Dave,
CBH is the Class Basic Handicap system, used in Australia.

Justin, Maybe you can find a conversion from the US PHRF system, here are the known TOD numbers from the three fleets where they are raced.
