It's fun but not a J boat

I just started racing my H240 this year. We have a J-24 and a Capri 25 that race. Both of these boats will blow you away head to head, but they have to give you a whole lot of time.. If you sail your boat well you will still be able to place. So far we've pulled a 4th and a 2nd. Good Luck and have fun.

Not racing just chasing

Tried to keep up with a fully loaded J22 (lots of bikini's) in my 98 240 with four on board on an 8 knot day Saturday.....couldn't keep up, but we were a heck of a lot more comfortable!

I was spanked by a j boat a couple of years ago - it was about a 24 footer. While I am not terribly experienced, I was blocking his wind and had my sails trimmed pretty well. Slowly but surely he cruised by within a few hundred yards. The tradeoff is with the creature comforts - his boat was only good for a short ride, I can comfortably spend the night...
