I have a Harken roller furler on my H23. Last summer I had a serious halyard wrap problem. My plan is to install the Harken halyard restrainer in a location that meets the 7 - 10 degree halyard vs headstay separation criteria recommended by Harken. My questions are a) Has anyone out there done this on a H23 boat? b) On any other similar boat? c) Does the halyard restrainer greatly complicate the mast raising proceedure? d) Does the halyard restrainer get in the way of the roller furler when the mast is down? e) And if so, how do you deal with that situation? Any advise will be helpful. Thanks,Bill Leathen
