So (sadly, a little late) I have discover that the Indian Lake Hunter 23 regatta (something you read a lot about in the archives), still exists!! It was just last weekend, with the first start on August 23. I wasn't there..but I wish I was.
I know there's tons of 23 owners on here - who would be interested in making this a big event next year!?

Might give me the necessary motivation to buy a new main, too!

Yeah

That would be quite the haul from Oregon - it just might be cheaper to buy a new H23 on the east coast and re sell it after the regatta!

Hey Phil - I could have sworn there was a post inthis thread with Mike from Indian Lake posting contact info for the regatta and a little history. where did it go?

Hmmmmmm.................I likewise couldn't find the many posts in the archives about the H23 regatta. However, it is always the weekend before Labor Day at the Indian Lake Yacht Club in west central Ohio. You may contact me at mikeepp@mindspring.com for info.
