My 1986 Hunter 23 has a taco shaped bent metal base. It's been used incorrectly and bent badly. I looked on the Hunter parts site and they have two hinged style mast base system different from my boat. I want to know if either of these hinged systems could be adapted to my boat.

You can see in this picture the mast base is a simple bent stainless steel taco. The Hunter parts catalog shows an old style and a newer style both employ installing a fitting into the base mast and another fitting on cabin top. My question is which kit would work properly on my 1986 H23?
You need to know which mast you have. Probably a Kenyon Isomat mast. Then call and talk with either Mike or Dave at the forum store
