Hunter 23' Keel Fairing

I had a good sized gouge running down the starboard side of the iron keel from top to bottom. Ground it to shiny iron, then used west 105 resin and 206 slow hardener thickened with the 406 colloidal silica. I wrapped waxpaper around it and duct taped it to the keel to make the shape and make it easier to sand down. Previuos owner must have hit a whale.

Whatever the PO hit, it probably tossed him over the bow and into the drink!
