id like to add that the bolts may not notice but the surrounding fiberglass structure very likely will, the bolts arent the only factor. just saying.
These boats are designed for costal and sheltered waters. 15 Kts of wind is about time to go home.
With this style boat which I outsold all other dealers, I will still say the old adage of of heeling more than 14 degrees controlling the boat thru sail control either reducing or letting out or both. I sailed the 23 wing keel in 2o to 25 knots of wind adhering to these principles. If too much, then come in out of the weather.
A properly trimmed h23 will handle much more than 15knots safely. See the picture of mine trimmed properly in 20 knots gusting over 30 in my profile.This was while participating in a regatta. 15deg. heel and I hadn't moved my first mate to windward yet.
