Hunter 23 1987. Wing Keel Dimensions.

I need wing keel dimensions for my ‘new’ 1987 Hunter 23. It’s in water. Need it to build keel support on trailer I’m modifying. Have never seen front profile or CG for boat

Hi Dennis, welcome to the SBO forum. Unfortunately I have no access to the dimensions, but this link may help you scale a reasonable estimate. Looks fairly simple to set on a trailer, you’ll just need to have the height for the bunks, or adjustable. You may want to check out sailboatdata.com as well. Good luck.

I need CG location measure for approx fore and aft location. And also keel dimensions side to side to align boat whilstrecovering

When asking for advice I find many of those who ask do not give all the details to include photos which give us what we are looking at. There are considerations to include crossbars, aluminum vs steel, condition of trailer as to age/any former damage/any modifications/ etc., tandem or single axle, brakes, state laws where trailer is registered, safety considerations and so on.

I have seen a lot over the years and would not touch or advise on some trailers I saw. Thus a photo before I give anything else to this thread. I think most would agree. So @Kermit ni more maydays. Period

As for the any further information, unless any further information is forthwith, I will refrain from commenting. I am not at the tandem trailer to see what actually needs to be done. Like I said I have seen a lot in my years as a dealer. My experience first came from Ken's Welding (KWS) who built the early trailers and later from Ron Frisosky who designed all the sailboat trailers for the Former Precision trailers, Road King and a lot for Hunter and others as well. Ron was considered the foremost designer of sailboat trailers in our industry.
