Just bought a Hunter 23 to rehab. It was sitting for a while. I removed the 3 floor panels and there was water below. I sucked the water out with a shop vac in the first area and it filled back up from a weep hole which I assumed was coming from the next area. But as it turns out the weep holes in all three sections are weeping in from below the floor. I can not find any areas in the boat with access all the way down to the hull. I find this unusual.. I have no idea what amount of water is below the floor.. Has anyone ever had this experience with this model of Hunter?

Yes. I just let the water weep out, suck it out, and repeat until dry. This happens after I first float it when it has been on the trailer and tends not to come back while in the slip. I think the reservoir is under the floor area just aft of these removable sole pieces, under the companionway. Since it probably is tilted a bit down at the stern on the trailer I suspect it collects back there as water intrudes over the winter, even though I use a big canvas cover.
