Do any of you Hunter 22 owners still have the sink/step in the cabin? I have a 1981 Hunter 22. The PO used it as a day sailor and removed the sink/step box in the cabin. The admiral and I are going to use it more as a weekender and would like to replace the sink/step. The question I have is where was the holding tanks filler cap located? Thanks

Yes, the prior reply is accurate. I have the 1981 H22. All the manuals are available elsewhere on sbo, I uploaded them a few years ago. do you want photos of the sink or something?
Leaning towards building a galley box that would slide out of the way like a Cat22's does. I still have the original steps along with the new ones the PO put in.

I have a photobucket here of my photos. There is a photo in there also of the valves underneath for the faucet, the air vent, and the fill hole. You can also see where the hoses reach back to the water tank. There is also a photo of the through-hull where the drain will go, and of the sink-drain itself. I don't use the through-hull. They scare me. There is a plumbing diagram in the manual, which is found elsewhere on this website. The sink also has a built in drawer for an alcohol stove.
