I have to replace my sinks thru hull and sea cock and wondered if anyone has a picture of and installation from their boat. Mine is 1981 vintage. I bought the boat used and it came with a plastic thru hull fitting and a 1/2 household brass water valve screwed to it and then a 4 inch galvanized nipple that connected to the sink drain. It broke off when I was checking it. I had plenty of leverage to help me break it. The boat was out of water. I just wondered how the original setup was installed. I doubt that is was how Hunter did it. Is there a way just to plug the hole with a blank fitting and not mess with a seacock at all? I have no plans to use the sink anyways ? thanks.
