I'm still trying to decide how I will cut about a foot off of the new Boom. Normally i'd use my radial arm saw with a carbide blade. THis material is pretty heavy aluminum. I guess it does'n hurt to try.

Bail measurements taken from the aft face of the mast to the center of the 1/4 inch bolt the holds the bail on
1) Vang - 33 1/2 inches
2) Forward mainsheet - 86 1/2 inches
3) Aft mainsheet - 100 1/2 inches
Total length to end of boom - 136 inches
