Hunter 22 fwd hatch replacement

Has anyone changed out the forward hatch on a Hunter 22.
it does not seem to be a standard size.

Any follow up on hatch options? I need to replace mine as well. Nervous about this 1/2" cut needed to be made all around for the hatch sold in that link.

Just thinking outside the box here but what about building and installing a nice, semi-permanent cover for that opening and then installing a smaller hatch into that cover? You won't get quite as much ventilation but it could look very nice and avoid the major surgery.
