It appeared that we got the very first 216 off the production line. It sails faster and better than the prototypes that you guys have seen around the countryside.. We test sailed this rascal and I feel it is a boat for all ages. There are some recommendations which the folks at JY/Hunter Composites are encompassing. I feel this will be a winner for you. See your local dealer and test ride that puppy. Crayz Dave condon

Gentlemen this forum is for infor only

I realize that many of you have a good relationship with your dealer but please respect the forum and do not list dealers and phone numbers. I am a dealer but I am only here for informational purposes only and that is why I will never divulge where I am; otherwise I will quit the forum. Crazy Dave Condon

Sails well (Deep subject)

Ok, I'll bite. What characteristics are you alluding to? Faster than the prototype doesn't say much if the prototype didn't actually FLOAT... Does it point well? Compared to what? Flying Scot? J24? How about downwind? Will it carry a spinaker? As a family boat, does it have a pool? Room for croquet? Cupholders? Room for mom to sunbath? Inquiring minds want to know (as they say...) Markdb

$, options?, Sails well

Check with your nearest dealer for an introductory price. Options are still being worked on. Come on, this boat is designed by Glenn Henderson, it will sail as well as the sailor, the boat has the making of a fun fast day sailer with room for many.

What can it do:

Robert Fulton designed a few disasters. Can it point? Is it stable? What can it be compared to? These and my previous questions are not hard questions for an experienced sailor or even a dealer in an out of the way place such as Visalia, CA. Markdb

It can point

The boat can point well and is more stable than the Hunter 240. I really like the cast lead keel. It will be a great boat for someone who wants a fast daysailor or a PHRF racer in their slip.
