Does anyone have a complete list of changes and/or updates that Hunter has made to the 216 and trailor since the first few boats were built? Also, has anyone had experience or opinions of the spinnaker and traveler options. Are they a good value, or, should a person design their own?

Spinaker is good

I got the spinaker option from facotry and took delivery today. We flew the chute in the parking lot so I could get used to it. I am pumped! The spar is carbon fiber--4.5' long--permanently mounted just a bit to port from the centerline on the bow. Chute is launched to starboard from the cuddy cabin. We had to replace the sheets as the std facotry lines are too short. Longer ones work better to do the deal from the cockpit. Th espinaker is big.

Hunter 216 Sail trim

Will be racing the 216 as soon as the spinnaker is available. Have not used assym spin before. Anyone know of any good books on sail handling on boats simular to the 216 -- maybe even on the Melges 24 - A lot more adjustments but basically the same hull characteristics just bigger.
