Hello,

I have found recently that the tail of my outhaul frequently falls into one of the mainsheet blocks mounted to the boom. I don't know why this didn't happen when the boat was new but at any rate it's not good. Perhaps the older line is just softer and that account s for it. Has anyone come up with a solution to this? Thanks.

Mine does it too - same with my topping lift. The outhaul is the only one that has ever fouled the mainsheet blocks, however. My solution was simply wrapping the tail around the boom and finishing with clove hitch. Any adjustments underway and you just have to pop the hitch and unwrap accordingly when pointed to weather as tension releases. Its low tech but haven't had a single problem since.
