I just purchased a forestay tang and don't know if I'll receive the 4 rivets I need to fasten it to the mast. I'd like to know the aluminum thickness of the mast to size the grip in case I need to purchase the rivets separately.

I have seen the hole size on the tangs over the years vary. The thickness of the mast is not the issue but the rivet gun for the appropiate rivets to go thru the tang holes. Ok, I am gong to sound nutty here but if you are dealing with the large rivets, you will need to get a larger size rivet gun.
