What year did the 212 model come out? Does it have a kick up style rudder? what is the max hp outboard you can use on it? Thinking about buying one any input anyone can give would be much appreciated...
I believe the first 212's were sold in 1999. The rudder is the kick-up type. Also, the swing keel is fully retractable (easy to beach). I was told that the maximun outboard one can use was 5 HP. This is plenty power (5 HP 4-stroke). If you have not done so already, read the boat information and owner reviews on this site.
