I looked but couldn't find your manual. I think you better have help to raise the mast unless you find a jib pole system and procedure... there are a few random vids on youtube but you won't find one specific to that boat. They are all roughly the same, but each is a little different.

Anyone know if this is a boat that I could put the mast up myself on? Also take down.
I’m fairly sure you could raise and lower the mast. Certainly don’t need a crane :)

I initially created a version of this as I wasn’t sure I could do it “manually”. During one session the battery died so I didn’t have a choice but to muscle it myself. Not that big a deal as long as you are cautious.

I raise and lower with the boat on the trailer which provides a nice stable platform.

The first time you do it have some help standing by and have a line (I use the main halyard) from the top of the mast to the bow area long enough that they can assist if necessary. Assuming you can attach the shrouds and backstay just take your time and slowly walk from the stern forward as you lever the mast up. The “load” gets lighter but more top heavy as you go up. Not that heavy just don’t get “wobbly” ;)

Of course adding a gin pole and a multi block system makes it easier but may not be necessary.

I’m 66 and have raised and lowered mine multiple times by myself.

As a former Hunter dealer, the best suggestion is to be taught how to sail and then have a knowledgeable sailor go with you when looking at that boat. The last original 19-1 was offfered as a kit boat in 1985.contrary to boat information. Before that it was offered as a completed boat or kit boat. To my knowledge there was only a brochure as I do not recall a manual. Boy it has been a long time ago
