Are you referring to the new Hunter 18 daysailor or the actual 18.5 which some refer to as the 18 built in the late 1980's early 90's

If you are going to replace the line, attach a messenger line to the existing line and pull out and then go to a marine store. If it is too short, add several feet. I am not sure where you are but in the United States, Selden mast which would know is located in North Charleston, South Carolina and their phone number is (843) 760-6278. If pulling out, it is easy to put one back in with a messenger line in place
