I bought a Hunter 18.5 last fall and moved it home to do some clean up before putting it in at a new marina this spring. Unfortunately I've forgotten how the backstay attaches to the masthead- is this just by a clevis pin? We thought we'd put all pins in a secure place, but maybe are one short. Also- can anyone provide pointers on tuning the rigging once we get the mast back up? THANKS

18.5 Backstay
I'm pretty sure a Hunter 18.5 is a B&R rig and doesn't have a backstay. Do you have swept back spreaders? Are you looking at the topping lift? If you are, it attaches to the boom.
