Hunter 170 Class?????

My club "GRSA" now has 6 Hunter 170s and is interested in forming a fleet. I am new to sailing and am not sure how to form this fleet, who to contact, does the fleet have to be registered with any organizations if so who? I am completly lost on what to do. Any help will be greatly welcomed.

Like you I would not have a clue as to how to organize a new class. So I would call an organization that should help, US Sailing. See the Related Link. And good luck, let us know how you make out.
