Hunter 170 centerboard warping

Has anyone had any problems with the Hunter 170 centerboard expanding so much that it is unusable? Mine formed a lump on one side extending almost the length of the board and I couldn't retract it all the way.

Call Hunter dealer

I'd let the dealer know ASAP so that they can replace it. I don't think how old it is should make a difference. They may reolace it.
