Suggest doing an internet search on "used asymmetrical sail" and input your boat's I (18.95 ft) and J (5.54 ft) measurements to find one that fits. I can offer up used sail lofts if you wish.

Spinnaker sizing guideline: The rule of thumb for the spinnaker size is the luffs = I. The foot should be between 1.6 x J and 2 x J. Many cruising boats are now using “Poleless Spinnakers.” The luff on poleless spinnakers should not exceed the I or the full size genoa luff. The foot should be between 1.6 and 1.8 x J.

Thanks SFBay, I'll find a used kite now I have specs and I saw that now cover made but didnt want to spend $200 so I was going to get one made locally. Next time I get to the boat I can measure
On the cover either white or gray to minimize heat. Cover should be supported off the deck with supports or halyard. Insert two vents on top of cover. If not heat buildup under any cover without the suggestions will damage your 170. Former Hunter dealer.
