Where can I get a new upper fitting for the rudder assembly? This is an older boat (1986) and I have been told there is no longer any parts. This is a folding rudder with a black plastic head. The upper mounting unit, I don't know if it was a pin or a hole as it was broken when I got her. Pictures or any info would help.

I realize you only need part of a rudder assembly. However, the site below may be able to help you. According to the page, they do sell the complete rudder package for the 14, but maybe they also sell whatever you need to get back in business.
The price for a complete rudder package is just under $500. That seems high, but I recently spent nearly that much on a rudder for a 12'er that I turned over, losing the rudder AND dagger board to the briny deep. Actually, it was only about 30' deep, but it may as well have been 500' deep.

You might also try craigslist.com. The site below is a "national" craigslist search. My next door neighbor just bought a boat from this list. He's driving clear across the country to pick it up next month. He tells me the price justifies the long haul to tow it back.
