Hump for a 1985 catalina 30

I am looking for a after market hump to replace the top of the aft storage locker on my 1985 CAtalina 30. Don't want a hump cushion but would like to replace the actual flat top of the locker.

After market is tough since all of these boats

are not exactly alike. Your best bet, I would think, is to call Catalina and ask them if they can fabricate one to fit your lazarette. We opted for the cushion since we wanted closed-cell foam cockpit cushions anyway. We have, however, asked Catalina to replace our water-logged lazarette hatches. Their cost is around $340 each and we have to send them the old ones so that they can make an exact match. Hope this helps.

Not sure what you mean, but have you seen

the Helmseat ? It was in a previous post someone did here. I believe they can do one with longer legs to eliminate stock cover as I think you might want to do. I think they are about $350http://www.helmseat.com/
