I couldn't get the 785 c2i I ended up with the 785c2 which does not have the navionics gold maps preloaded.
My total was $236.90 with shipping. But I would gladly give $30 more to get the maps.
I ordered one like the one you ordered, but it was actually out of stock. They had to cancel my order days later. I called many different stores, they all had that they were selling the 785 c2i for whatever price and when they checked the warehouse, the warehouse was out of stock.
I hope you can get it, I think it is a really good deal with those maps, I couldn't find it though even though it said "in stock".

I had a chance to use the humminbird 785 c2, the one WITH OUT the navionics gold maps preloaded. If you don't get charts preloaded on humminbird plotters there are no depths on the "charts".
I can see where I am in relation to land, the anchor alarm will work with out the depths, but it is not worth buying for a sailboat if you don't buy the charts or get them with the plotter.
Do the other plotter companies work this way? You have to buy a chip for the plotter to really be useful?
A navionics silver chip is $110, that covers US coasts and the bahamas. It would have been nice if it was in the literature. I hate finding things out this way.
