"Maybe I was wrong but I thought topsides meant the top of the boat(non skid,seats,hatches,etc) and the hull was the hull, not part of topsides." That's the common usage Larry but confused by the fact that the term "topsides" is an oxymoron since it also denotes the hull above the waterline. If Navy or Coast Guard "speak" is acceptable, it refers to anything above or including the first weather deck. Now if I could only learn something worthwhile...

Maine Sail, Were do you pick up Micro Fiber cloths? and paphman, What is the cost difference between Collinite Insulator Wax and Marine Wax? Where can you get Collinite Insulator Wax and the 840 Sapphire prewax cleaner?

Rick, I do not know the differance in price between the boat wax and the insulator wax. I don't think it could be very much. The phone number for Collinite is as follows. 315-732-2282. They are located in Utica NY. If you can't find it where you live, give them a call and I am sure they will help you locate some. It is a great product, and when you see how well it works you will never use any other product again. Remember that it is very important to use the pre-wax cleaner (# 840 )before you use the wax.
