In the process of purchasing a boat with approximate hull number 32340. Am wondering what year it was built.

According to what I've read on the "I love O'Days" web site, the O'Day 22s were built between 1971 and 1983. From 1973 to 1979 they were mast head rigs, and from 1980 to 1983 they were built as fractional rigs. That hull number is very puzzling though. I don't know anyone off hand who owns a OD 22. They were a nice little boat in it's day, until the OD 222s came along. These newer boats have the keel centerboard which provided them better pointing ability and more speed. Check out the site provided. Maybe someone Else on the forum has the answer that you're after. Good luck. Joe
