This is my first post here. I've been reading and using advice on this great site for a while now! Did not find much in the archive on my question. I want to rebed the hull to keel joint on my 321. I thought the sealant would scrape off relatively easily but the task did not look obvious after trying with the sharp edge of a scraper. What would be a good technique or tool to use to remove the old sealant? The sealant can be cut through (3M-4200 or 5200?) but is difficult to access and remove in this tight crack because it adheres quite strongly. Thanks, -Den

Is the keel still installed to your hull?

Sounds like it is. If so, forget it. Just fill with new 5200 and smoothen. It'll be fine.
