Hull to deck joint

Upon inspecting my '79 C-22, I noticed light coming through between the deck and hull joint in the cabin forward of the starboard bulkhead. This is the only place I can see outside light coming through. Does this indicate a poor deck to hull attachment or a leak?

Bulkhead for upper shroud?

I think you are refering to the bulkhead that supports the upper shroud when you mention bulkhead.If this is the case, I think you should throughly examine the entire wood bulkhead to verify it is properly secured to the figerglass hull.It is possible that this bulkhead is loose and that with the lower shrouds has started to pull the deck upwards when the mast is pulled to the port side as on a starboard tack.However, it may only a problem of a bent rub rail, but I really do not think that is the case.
