Check in Annapolis

Hopefully, there will be one to look at in Annapolis. Check it out and put the question directly to the agent. What better opportunity to find out yourself than to get the word by hearsay? Although comments from owners, I'm sure, will be a more convincing factor. Also, go to the Owners' Directory on this site and contact some of the owners directly for their comments. Good Luck nn your decision.

Thickness isn't a concern.

While at the show, lift the floor boards and pull out a transducer. Will give a good representation on thickness. P456/Song of Texas

Nonsense, Christopher.

'They' used to say the same thing about O'Days, Columbias and, more recently, Catalinas. Besides, if you can 'see' through a hull, it just means there isn't a core material. That is, it's solid glass. You can see light through most solid glass laminates. Rick D.

They used to say the same thing about Bayliners

What you're hearing is just "brand bashing" from people who don't know the first thing about hull construction, but like to pretend they do...so they parrot other "brand bashers." If you were ask 'em what type of matting or roving is used in Hunter hulls--or whether any is used, they wouldn't even understand the question, much less know the answer.

Glass Bottoms?

You know why Bayliners are going to come out with glass bottoms? Ans: So they can see last years model! Originally told to me by a power boat salesman.
