I have the specs on FRP Laminates / Hull and Deck, for my Lancer. These numbers look like the hull is built sturdy. They are: Topside Plating - .636" Bottom & Shear Plating - .668" Bilge & Keel Top Plating - .769" Deck Plating - .474 I have some question I hope can be answered. 1. What is the differece between "Topside Plating" and "Deck Plating"? 2. Is the Top Side Plating the hull above the water line? 3. Would the Bottom & Sheer Plating be below the water line? 4. I am assuming the Bilge & Keel Plating is just that, the keel and very bottom of the hull around the keel. Is that correct? Thanks for any assistance.

1: Topside is the hull sides between the waterline and the shear

and the deck is the deck 2: Yes. 3: Yes and no. The Bottom is the hull below the waterline and the shear is the area on the hull sides just below the deck (Maybe as much as 10 inches or so) where the deck meets the sides. It is the reinforcement for the deck/hull joint 4: yes. You're right on. Joe
