hull squish?

I'm the proud owner of a 1974 hunter 29.5 that has been stored for some time. it seems the weight of the boat on the keel has (hopefully temporaily) deformed the hull just aft of the keel.
the yard guy does not seem phased by this but I am.
when t was lifted to be put in the water the hull dropped back to normal (about 2") and i can't find any obvious cracks. Anybody?

a photo would help. but usually they will go back into shape. Is the depression from the stands?

If there are no cracks (look carefully), ya probably fine , especially since it seems to have corrected itself. That can happen easily if the poppets (boat stands) aren't supporting the stern correctly .. and ya get a lot of water sitting in the cockpit floor. Ice in the drains can make it worse. Again, no cracks.. ya prolly fine.. Let her sit in the water a week or so and then get the propeller shaft alignment checked after everything settles down..

Not sure if it matters to the question; but I am not familiar with a 29.5 from 1974. The 1970s boats (25, 27, 30, 33, 35, 36, 37) were surprisingly rugged and it'd take a lot of effort and a long time to distort one. My '74 boat sat for two years with a poppet pushing on it wrong and it's all but returned to original shape.

Thanks for the responses! Its sure nice to not look at this big boat all alone. I'm learning a lot about it.. and I love it soooo much.
It has had ice build up in the cockpit and drains, probably not much more than fifty pounds on the very worst occasion in my memory, as I would drive down to check up on it fairly regularly. It must be an amazing amount of weight pushing on the keel and hull just from the load of the boat itself. Also I remember on the inside of the boat the floor had raised up a bit around the bilge and the worst part of the deformity was definitely just behind the keel where the belly meets the keel.
Sounds like from responses so far that its probably not too bad but it was disconcerting seeing somthing that seems so strong and rigid be moving at all as they picked up the boat. Even the kid operating the lift (not the main yard guy) said it was weird to see the heavy keel stay on the ground for an extra second or two untill the slack was out of the keel as the rest of the boat was being lifted.

Usually hull deformations from improper 'jack stand' positioning arent a problem, the hull usually 'recovers' when floating.
However it is possible for those areas to become damaged - delamination between the layers of FRG. So when you haul the boat use a plastic hammer and 'sound' the previously supported and 'dimpled' areas .... just tap the area formerly 'dimpled' and compare the 'sound' with surrounding areas, there should be no difference in the 'note' you hear with the hammer. If radically different sound, then get a surveyor or FRG 'artist' to further survey, etc.
As stated usually not a problem.
