Hull numbers on Pacific seacraft 25

My neighbor just purchased a PS25 and is trying to find the hull number on his PS 25. It is not molded into the transom. Does anyone know where to look to find it. He is trying to register boat. Any help would be appreciated.

What year is the boat? Te HIN requirement came into force on November 1, 1972.

During repairs/restoration of some boats I have found HIN information inside cabinetry. I think it might have been hand written there for construction purposes. That might not help in the case of pre-1972 as mentioned above, but it might be worth a look. Underside of cabinet tops and seating areas. Perhaps even tanks installed in the boat if they are original.

Maybe registration paperwork?
