Hull number

I have just bought a Oday 23 yr.1971, where can I find the Hull N#?
I need to make a pencil rubbing of the N#

Hull numbers were put into place 11/1/1972 so your boat may not have one. Look on the starboard transom usually up near the hull deck joint. If you have to have it for insurance or other reason in NC you can get one assigned by the state, you just have to tell them that the boat was built prior to HINs.
