Hull number question on O'Day 37

I have found on two different web sites the specifications for the 37 that state they were made from 1978 to 1984 and there were 219 built but my boat is hull #229 and was built 4/85. The numbers molded into the hull are as follows XDYX0229E485. Does anyone know when the last boat was built and the hull number.

O'Day had two plants I think. One was in Fall River Ma. and the other was located on the West Coast somewhere. They may have built more boat like yours in one of these plants. The only guy I know who would have that information is Rudy at D&R Marine. He once showed me the scrap books on the O'Days with all that pertinent information.
He's always busy making up orders to send out and I kind of doubt that he has the time to look it up for someone.
