Hull number identification

I just recently purchased a 1981 C22 and would like to know where the Hull # can be found. Also, my boats main sail has no number so how would I also know what the sail # might have been when the boat was originally sold. Most articles I have read mentioned hull# and also sail#. Imagine

Hull I.D.

The Hull I.D. is on the transomjust below the rub rail on the starboard side. On my '86 C22 it is very difficult to see and read. Check the previous owners registration and make a comparision if its not clear.
