New Liner Material from Hunter
I've just recently replaced some of my liner with a new material I purchased from Hunter. Its a textured vinyl material with a foam backing in a light off-white color that looks very good. Its used on the larger hunter boats.Peeling off the old was a bit of a pain, as some of the foam stayed stuck to the hull. After removal with a putty knife, I used the old pieces as a pattern, applied a water based adhesive with a notched trowel, and installed the new liner. It was fairly easy, except for some built in cabinets that had to be removed. You can call Hunter Marine at 1-800-771-5556, and ask for Mike Thomas at X3015. The hull liner material is called a lizzerette (not hull liner material, go figure), and its Pt No: 606531 w/.25" Foam. Its cost is$15.25/yd @ 54" wide. They recommended an Armstrong adhesive which I found difficult to get. I ended up using an adhesive I found at Home Depot, made by Armstrong but had a different brand name (blue container)and was water based. Easy stuff to use, and worked well. There are a lot of other ways to do this, but its the look I wanted. Good luck.
